Selected work

Engineering leadership that stays connected to implementation.

I work across architecture, backend development, technical-debt strategy, hiring, delivery systems, and product discovery. This is a selective record of outcomes, not a complete CV.

Experience

Roles and outcomes.

The titles changed as the organization and product changed. The through-line is ownership: architecture, engineering quality, hiring, and the system used to turn product intent into reliable software.

Mar 2025 — Present

Navio · Tech Lead

Lead backend architecture and technical direction across evolving automotive platforms while spending approximately 30–60% of time on hands-on implementation. Own architecture review, service patterns, CODEOWNERS, and technical-debt planning across service estates growing from roughly 30 to 100 services.

Lead an active AI-assisted SDLC/PDLC pilot covering Jira automation, document review, PRD and FR/NFR consistency, and DoR/DoD checks with human-controlled decisions.

Apr 2024 — Feb 2025

Navio · Backend Team Lead

Led backend delivery for up to 20 engineers including external contractors, with around 10 backend engineers in direct management scope. Owned backend hiring, goal setting, performance reviews, release coordination, and technical-debt planning while remaining involved in implementation and production support.

Standardized logging, metrics, and tracing through shared Python libraries and middleware, improving production diagnostics and service onboarding consistency.

Oct 2025 — Present · part-time

HZProtocol / ArbLense · Co-founder & CTO

In this part-time founder role, own product direction, architecture, code, DevOps, and business development for prediction-market intelligence products. Co-created the ArbLense vision and developed the product from early iterations through live use, traffic planning, and investor preparation.

Jun 2022 — Apr 2024

Ruform / RUTUBE ecosystem · Backend Developer

Developed internal tools, an ELK-oriented logging library, CIDR filtering integrated with Kubernetes/WAF, and high-load proxy services for search, suggestions, and recommendations. Proxy traffic peaked around 30k RPS.

Worked in a team continuously improving the company SDLC: clarifying DoR/DoD, reducing requirement returns, and making releases and ownership more predictable.

2020 — 2022 · part-time

MyOpenTour · Co-founder, CTO, Backend & DevOps

Owned the technical side of an invested travel startup: architecture, backend, infrastructure, delivery, and management of two frontend engineers within a team that reached seven people.
